• It captures KPIs and intensity metrics (such as square meters, production units) to drive performance via internal benchmarking
• ECIS tracks energy and carbon performance across the organisation – from an individual asset or location through to consolidated organisation-wide views
• Correlate consumption with external data sources e.g. degree day temperature readings

Emissions measurement
ECIS provides comprehensive reporting on emissions at organisation level through to geographic locations, divisions, and business units, by source of emissions. Emissions reports convert all emission sources to CO2-e based on factors you nominate.

Compliance reporting
ECIS can produce a broad range of reports to suit any compliance schemes including NGERS, EEO, NABERS (Australia), CRC (UK), Energy Star (USA) and CDP (global). Reports can be also tailored to your specific reporting requirements.

Performance and ROI
ECIS provides performance reports to track savings from emissions-reduction strategies requiring capital investment. These reports could be used to track the CO2-e and dollar savings from installing energy-efficient infrastructure. ECIS also delivers financial-grade information to track return on investment (ROI) and payback periods for investments in energy and carbon reduction initiatives, providing accountability for business decisions.

Assurance and audit

The ECIS platform has been designed to deliver robust, financial grade data to meet the growing need for audit-based assurance. Features include:

• Data accuracy reports identifying data irregularities based on preset “high and low” thresholds
• Trace to source capability means all data can be verified against primary data inputs

• Utility bill analyses to ensure that actual usage and tariffs are being properly calculated in accordance with contract rates
• Data repository for online storage of key documentation e.g. energy audits, consultant reviews etc
• Estimation module which generates estimates (accruals) of missing data in order to smooth reporting cycles when bills have not been received
