David Solsky - Chief Executive Officer
David Solsky is a co-founder of CarbonSystems. A passionate technology entrepreneur, he has spent the past four years working locally and internationally to build the company into a leader in the energy and carbon management sector. Prior to 2007 David spent a decade in the IT industry as an entrepreneur, building several successful Australia and New Zealand businesses in the information and data management sector. This included Databank Technologies, a startup which evolved to become the Australian market leader in disaster recovery and information management services, and was subsequently sold to a listed multinational company. David also spent seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Corporate Finance and Assurance Divisions and has applied this experience to CarbonSystems’ technology platform, ensuring it meets the rigorous information-integrity standards of the corporate sector. David plays a driving role in the ongoing design and evolution of the CarbonSystems technology platform and the development of the company's global partner channel. In 2011, ABC Carbon named him beside David Suzuki, Nicholas Stern and Tim Flannery as one of 100 Global Sustain-Ability Leaders that have made a significant contribution to sustainability.
Bill Clasquin - Chief Technology Officer
Bill Clasquin is a co-founder of CarbonSystems. He has 30 years' experience in IT development across a range of sectors, including retail and wholesale banking, payments processing, medical insurance, investment management, funds management, insurance valuation systems, business intelligence, data warehousing and web-based software as a service solution delivery. He has successfully built technology businesses, including Sagacious Systems, which was sold to Global Technologies prior to listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Over the last six years, Bill has leveraged his broad IT development experience into the creation of the Software as a Service (SaaS) data-harvesting and reporting infrastructure that sits at the heart of the CarbonSystems SRM Solutions.
Andrew Lamble - Chief Operating Officer
Andrew is a co-founder of CarbonSystems. He is responsible for all aspects of international operations, client service delivery, partner and commercial management. He is a former Director of Strategy with market leading IT services firm Dimension Data Australia. Andrew has been active in the sustainability arena since 2004 and is a former Chairman of OzGREEN, a not-for-profit provider of youth and community focused environmental education programs. Andrew has an accounting, consulting and corporate finance background with hands on experience working for and advising large enterprise around the world, and has spent more than 15 years working for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young Consulting.
Robin Baker – VP, Channels and Business Development, Americas
Robin Baker is responsible for US channels and partner strategy at CarbonSystems. He brings a wealth of experience in the areas of business operations, sales, business development, marketing, corporate strategy and risk advisory services. Robin has held senior executive roles in high-growth market sectors with companies including Ernst & Young, AMEE, Movaris, Certus and Panasonic. Prior to CarbonSystems, Robin was VP of Business Development for AMEE, an Environmental Intelligence platform that aggregates and automates access to global environmental and energy information to help businesses turn environmental data into actionable information. At Movaris, a leader in solutions for the Last Mile of Finance, Robin was VP, Business Strategy & Corporate Development, where he developed and managed the repositioning of the company’s go-to-market-strategy to address enterprise performance management and triple-bottom-line reporting. As VP of Corporate Strategy at Certus, a Governance, Risk and Compliance solution vendor, Robin had senior management responsibility for product strategy, marketing, solution management and customer advisory. At Ernst & Young Robin held management and consulting positions in their Business Risk Services Practice. While there he focused on a mix of financial and corporate governance compliance, enterprise risk, and business process transformation projects with Global 1000 clients. He holds a BA in Economics from Kingston University (UK) and an MS in Management Sciences and Operational Research from University of Southampton (UK) .
Karl Campbell - Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa
As managing director for the EMEA region, Karl Campbell is responsible for driving CarbonSystems sales, operations, and business development across the region. He brings to this role more than twenty years experience in the IT software and telecommunications industry. Prior to joining CarbonSystems, Karl held a number of senior management positions supporting sales, corporate development, field operations and compliance for emerging and large technology enterprises, including Progress Software and Cura Software. His technical background includes an engineering position at Fuchs Electronics. He has lived and worked in South Africa, South East Asia, The Netherlands and The United Kingdom. Karl holds a master’s degree from Erasmus University and MBA’s from the University of North Carolina, Rotterdam School of Management, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Tanya March – Manager, Business Development, Asia-Pacific
Tanya brings over 20 years of national sales management experience to the role of Manager, Business Development, Asia-Pacific for CarbonSystems. Joining CarbonSystems in 2007, Tanya has responsibility for both direct sales and channel management for the enterprise software for Australia. Her client work brings extensive experience from various industry sectors including leading ASX 200 companies, government, private companies and organisations such as Visy Industries, Ramsay Health, Elders Group, Spotless Group, Metcash Trading Australia, Canon, Fuji Xerox, Airservices Australia, CSIRO and George Weston Foods. Prior to joining CarbonSystems, Tanya was Project Manager for the inaugural Earth Hour in Sydney (2007). She has held senior roles including Client Services Director with a national communications agency, and national account management with a global outplacement and career transition organisation.
Rudi Miklosvary – Executive Vice President (Americas)
Rudi Miklosvary is a highly analytical and decisive business executive with expert proficiency in international trade, building close client relationships, and leading high-performing teams. His comprehensive knowledge of efficiency systems designed to reduce operating expenses and drive revenue enterprises has created value for a wide variety of organizations throughout his 20 year career. Prior to joining CarbonSystems, Rudi was VP of a global engineering firm specializing in energy efficiency and delivering sustainability solutions to corporate clients across Asia and the Middle East. Rudi spent three years with the Australian Trade Commission implementing the Free Trade Agreement between the United States and Australia after growing a successful trading business in the United States for 15 years. Rudi has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Economics from LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
Salil Narayanan - Manager, Product Strategy
Salil has over fifteen years’ experience in software and product development, largely in leading the design and development of products used by financial institutions in dozens of countries around the world. His expertise has developed products in payments, receivables management, credit risk, risk pricing and enterprise content management. Prior to joining CarbonSystems, Salil held senior product and development management positions at InfraRisk, Rubik Financial, Admerex and Global Technology. His product management experience includes defining product vision and roadmaps, evaluating markets and competitors and creating products to meet emerging opportunities. As Manager – Product Strategy at CarbonSystems, Salil was involved in the creation of the initial technology platform that now underpins the CarbonSystems SaaS platform and brings his passion and strengths to continue to deliver best of breed software for our clients.
Matthew Rickard - Manager, Business Development Asia
Matthew Rickard brings over 12 years of sales management, alliance management and product marketing experience to the role of Manager, Business Development, Asia. Joining CarbonSystems in 2012, he has responsibility for both direct sales and channel development across the Asia Region. He came to Singapore in 2005 as Regional Sales Manager for Netsuite, where he developed the channel sales plan for South East Asia, recruited teams in Singapore and Hong Kong and and was instrumental in building a highly successful business across the region. Prior to CarbonSystems Matthew ran his own consultancy that provided services for technology companies entering new markets in Asia. He has had sales experience in the majority of South East Asian countries as well as India. Matthew is also a passionate social entrepreneur having executed and completed a number of humanitarian projects in the region.
Tamara Robinson – Manager, Marketing
Tamara heads marketing for CarbonSystems and is responsible for its marketing strategy and activities globally. Tamara is an energy industry professional with over a decade of experience in marketing, communications and sales within the traditional and alternative energy industry in Australia and the UK. She combines her marketing expertise and front line sales experience to bring a sharp commercial focus to the marketing discipline. Prior to joining CarbonSystems, Tamara was the Marketing Director for BP Solar with responsibility for Australia and the Asian region.
Justin Willock – Manager, Service Delivery
Justin has over 10 years experience leading and managing high performance teams. He is skilled at identifying opportunities, formulating strategies and executing plans to deliver improved business performance. He possesses a breadth and depth of experience in technology and commercial areas, innovating and introducing processes and systems with an emphasis on quality and continuous improvement. Justin’s previous roles include management of service delivery at companies such as OBS Pty Ltd, Infra Corporation, APN News and Media and TMP Worldwide. Justin has an MBA from the University of New England, a Bachelor of Business from Charles Sturt University and qualifications in ITIL and Six Sigma.

Working in collaboration with CarbonSystems, we were able to develop an overarching data entry sheet specifically for online-NGERS reporting. This in turn took any confusion out of the data entry at the front end I believe we can even further streamline the process for the next reporting period.
